Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska

Imagination Library

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Wanda Davis and I am the new Coordinator for the Imagination Library. This is a free service offered to all ENROLLED members of the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska, ages newborn to five years of age.

Once registered with the Imagination Library, they will receive a free book each month to keep. Just about all children love to have stories read to them, whether it would be right before bedtime or in the middle of the day. Hopefully the child being read to will become a good reader themself and eventually will want to read the books to you!

If you have any questions or want to enroll your child in this program, please contact me during normal business hours Monday through Friday at 785-595-6673 (feel free to leave a voicemail). Alternatively, you may email me at imaginationlibrary@iowas.org.

I’m excited to hear from you and hope your child will enjoy the books to come!

-Wanda Davis

This program, started by Dolly Parton in 1995, has gifted over 150 million free books to children in the United States and many other countries.

TO ENROLL: Please get in touch with Wanda Davis, the Coordinator for the Imagination Library, during regular business hours Monday thru Friday at 785-595-6673 (feel free to leave a voice mail) or email Wanda Davis at imaginationlibrary@iowas.org.

IMPORTANT:

  • Once enrolled, it can take 4-8 weeks to receive your first book.
  • If you move, you must update your mailing address with Wanda Davis. Forwarding your mail with USPS is not sufficient. Your books will not arrive unless your address is updated.

Wanda is excited to hear from you and hopes your child will enjoy the books to come!
